Epic1 Surge Documentation Toolkit available

Due to the continuing patient surge related to COVID-19, BJC has implemented reduced nursing documentation for inpatient and emergency department nursing, effective January 11, 2022. Surge documentation allows for reduced clinical documentation requirements by inpatient and ED nurses during a surge of patients in a pandemic/natural disaster only. Assessment and care of patients are not reduced – only documentation.
