Additional 1:1 training is available by requesting a BJC Service Now request “MModal User Account/Initial Training Request”.  Additional training is recommended to help providers optimize their use of M*Modal. This request is intended for providers who prefer in person initial training as an alternative to completing the e-Learning or for additional training such as help setting up their profile and more in-depth coverage on different functions of M*Modal.

Built-in Commands: M*Modal offers several built-in Commands that are readily available for use in Epic. These Built-In Commands are pre-loaded into users’ profiles and pull patient specific information from the patients’ chart into an Epic note. These Built-In Voice Commands can ensure that accurate information is pulled into the patients’ chart, for example dictating “Insert Patient Full Name” will pull that patients accurately spelled full name into the chart. Additionally, this could help to save time by pulling additional clinical information into the note without having to go look for it such as “Insert Last CBC”.
