As we implement the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) system at BJC and Washington University School of Medicine, the build out of clinical content will be crucial to making the system work for us. While we are using the Epic Foundation System - a version of Epic including pre-defined settings, sample reports, and clinical and specialty starter sets - the software will be customized to our standards and include our own workflows.
